Prepositions in Kannada - Part II

We shall see some more preposition phrases in this post.

1. as well as -> thara

You can do as well as him.   ->  Neenu avana thara maadu bahudu.

2. via -> inda

We travelled via the underpass. -> Naavu underpassninda hogutteve.

3. Close to -> hathira

Keep close to the pavement.  -> Pavement hathira iru.

4. By means of  -> moolaka

We will get there by means of boat. -> Naavu alli  toni moolaka hoguvevu.

5. In addition to -> Kooda

In addition to soap,bring a towel. -> Soap kooda , towel tegethu-kondu ( togondu in spoken) banni.
